- Kapitel 19 -

1
The second lot came out for Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families. Their inheritance was in the middle of the inheritance of the children of Judah.
2
They had for their inheritance Beersheba (or Sheba), Moladah,
3
Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem,
4
Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5
Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah,
6
Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities with their villages;
7
Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan; four cities with their villages;
8
and all the villages that were around these cities to Baalath Beer, Ramah of the South. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
9
Out of the part of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too much for them. Therefore the children of Simeon had inheritance in the middle of their inheritance.

Zebulun’s Inheritance

The third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. The border of their inheritance was to Sarid.
11
Their border went up westward, even to Maralah, and reached to Dabbesheth. It reached to the brook that is before Jokneam.
12
It turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrise to the border of Chisloth Tabor. It went out to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.
13
From there it passed along eastward to Gath Hepher, to Ethkazin; and it went out at Rimmon which stretches to Neah.
14
The border turned around it on the north to Hannathon; and it ended at the valley of Iphtah El;
15
Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.
16
This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Issachar’s Inheritance

The fourth lot came out for Issachar, even for the children of Issachar according to their families.

Their border was to Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,
19
Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20
Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,
21
Remeth, Engannim, En Haddah, and Beth Pazzez.
22
The border reached to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh. Their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.
23
This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities with their villages.

Asher’s Inheritance

The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
25
Their border was Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,
26
Allammelech, Amad, Mishal. It reached to Carmel westward, and to Shihorlibnath.
27
It turned toward the sunrise to Beth Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Iphtah El northward to Beth Emek and Neiel. It went out to Cabul on the left hand,
28
and Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, even to great Sidon.
29
The border turned to Ramah, to the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah. It ended at the sea by the region of Achzib;
30
Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities with their villages.
31
This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Naphtali’s Inheritance

32
The sixth lot came out for the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
33
Their border was from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, Adami-nekeb, and Jabneel, to Lakkum. It ended at the Jordan.
34
The border turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, and went out from there to Hukkok. It reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah at the Jordan toward the sunrise.

The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,

Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37
Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor,
38
Iron, Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath, and Beth Shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities with their villages.

Dan’s Inheritance

The seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.
41
The border of their inheritance was Zorah, Eshtaol, Irshemesh,
42
Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,
43
Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
44
Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,
45
Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon,
46
Me Jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border opposite Joppa.
47
The border of the children of Dan went out beyond them; for the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and struck it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and lived therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their forefather.

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.

Joshua’s Inheritance

49
So they finished distributing the land for inheritance by its borders. The children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them.
50
According to the LORD’s commandment, they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in the hill country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and lived there.
51
These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the Tent of Meeting. So they finished dividing the land.

Simeons Erbe mit Juda

Das zweite Los kam für die Söhne Simeons nach ihren verschiedenen Geschlechtern heraus; und ihr Erbteil war

in Mitte des Besitzes der Söhne Judas: Bersabee, Sabee, Molada,

Hasersual, Bala, Asem,
4
Eltholad, Bethul, Harma,
5
Sikeleg, Bethmarchaboth, Hasersusa,
6
Bethlebaoth, und Sarophen; dreizehn Städte und deren Dörfer;
7
Ain, Remmon, Athar und Asan; vier Städte und deren Dörfer;
8
dazu alle Ortschaften rings um diese Städte bis Baalath-Beer, Ramath im Süden. Dies ist das Erbe der Söhne Simeons nach ihren einzelnen Geschlechtern,

innerhalb des Erbbesitzes und des Anteils der Söhne Judas, denn derselbe war zu groß; und darum wohnten die Söhne Simeons inmitten ihres Erbteiles.

Das Land Sebulon

Das dritte Los fiel auf die Söhne Zabulons nach ihren einzelnen Geschlechtern; und als Grenze ihres Besitzes wurde Sarid bestimmt,

und sie zieht sich vom Meere und von Merala herauf, und geht bis Debbaseth bis an den Bach, der Jekonam gegenüber ist.
12
Von Sared wendet sie sich gegen Osten nach dem Gebiete von Ceseleththabor, geht weiter nach Dabereth, und zieht sich aufwärts nach Japhie.
13
Von da geht sie östlich hinüber nach Gethhepher und Thakasin, und weiter nach Remmon, Amthar und Noa;
14
sodann wendet sie sich nördlich nach Hanathon, und ihren Abschluß bildet das Tal Jephthabel,
15
Kateth, Naalol, Semeron, Jerala und Bethlehem; zwölf Städte und deren Dörfer.
16
Dies ist das Erbe des Stammes der Söhne Zabulons nach ihren einzelnen Geschlechtern, ihren Städten und deren Dörfern.

Das Land Issaschar

17
Das vierte Los kam für Issachar nach seinen einzelnen Geschlechtern heraus;
18
und sein Erbe war: Jezrael, Kasaloth, Sunem,
19
Hapharaim, Seon, Anaharath,
20
Rabboth, Kesion, Abes,
21
Rameth, Engannim, Enhadda und Bethpheses.
22
Und seine Grenze geht bis Thabor, Sehesima, und Bethsames, und endet am Jordan; sechzehn Städte und deren Dörfer.
23
Dies ist der Besitz der Söhne Issachars nach ihren Geschlechtern, ihre Städte und deren Dörfer.

Das Land Asser

24
Das fünfte Los fiel auf den Stamm der Söhne Asers nach ihren einzelnen Geschlechtern;
25
und ihre Grenze war: Halkath, Chali, Beten, Axaph,
26
Elmelech, Amaad und Messal; und sie geht bis zum Karmel am Meer, Sihor, und Labanath
27
und wendet sich sodann gegen Osten zurück nach Bethdagon, und geht bis Zabulon und das Tal Jephthael, im Norden, bis weiter nach Bethemek, und Nehiel, dann geht sie weiter zur Linken von Kabul,
28
Abran, Rohob, Hamon und Kana bis nach Groß-Sidon,
29
und wendet sich nach Horma bis zur festen Stadt Tyrus, und bis Hosa, und endet am Meere bei dem Anteil Achzibas,
30
dazu Amma, Aphek und Rohob; zweiundzwanzig Städte und deren Dörfer.
31
Das ist der Besitz der Söhne Asers nach ihren einzelnen Geschlechtern, ihren Städten und deren Dörfern.

Das Land Naftali

32
Das sechste Los fiel auf die Söhne Nephthalis nach ihren einzelnen Geschlechtern;
33
und die Grenze beginnt von Heleph und Elon bei Saananim und Adami, das ist Nekeb, und bei Jebnael bis Lekum, und läuft fort bis an den Jordan.
34
Dann wendet sie sich westlich gegen Azanotthabor, und geht von da nach Hukuka, und läuft nach Zabulon gegen Süden hinüber, und nach Aser gegen Westen, und nach Juda an den Jordan gegen Sonnenaufgang.
35
Ihre festen Städte sind: Assedim, Ser, Emath, Rekkath, Cenereth,

Edema, Arama, Asor,
37
Kedes, Edrai, Enhasor,
38
Jeron, Magdalel, Horem, Bethanath und Bethsames; neunzehn Städte und die zu diesen gehörenden Dörfer.
39
Das ist der Besitz des Stammes der Söhne Nephthalis nach ihren einzelnen Geschlechtern, ihren Städten und deren Dörfern.

Das Land Dan

Das siebente Los kam für den Stamm der Söhne Dans nach ihren einzelnen Geschlechtern heraus.

Und die Grenze seines Erbes war: Sara, Esthaol, Hirsemes, das ist Sonnenstadt,

Selebin, Ajalon, Jethela,
43
Elon, Themna, Akron,
44
Elthece, Gebbethon, Balaath,
45
Jud, Bane Barach, Gethremmon,
46
Mejarkon und Arekon mit dem Gebiete gegenüber von Joppe,
47
und endet ebendort. Und die Söhne Dans zogen hinauf, und kämpften gegen Lesem, und nahmen es in Besitz, und ließen sich darin nieder, und nannten es Lesem-Dan, nach dem Namen Dans, ihres Stammvaters.

Das ist der Besitz des Stammes der Söhne Dans, nach ihren einzelnen Geschlechtern, ihren Städten und deren Dörfern.

Josuas Erbe

49
Als nun Josue die Verteilung des Landes durch das Los an jeden einzelnen nach seinem Stamme vollendet hatte, gaben die Söhne Israels Josue, dem Sohne Nuns, einen Besitz in ihrer Mitte,
50
nach dem Gebote des Herrn, die Stadt, welche er verlangte, Thamnat- Saraa auf dem Gebirge Ephraim: und er baute die Stadt und nahm darin Wohnung.
51
Dies sind die Erbteile, welche Eleazar, der Priester, und Josue, der Sohn Nuns, und die Fürsten der Geschlechter und der Stämme der Söhne Israels in Silo vor dem Herrn, an der Türe des Zeltes des Zeugnisses durch das Los austeilten; und so verteilten sie das Land.
