- Kapitel 5 -

(1 Chronicles 1:1–3)

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, he made him in God’s likeness.

He created them male and female, and blessed them. On the day they were created, he named them Adam.(a)

Adam lived one hundred thirty years, and became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.

The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters.

All the days that Adam lived were nine hundred thirty years, then he died.

Seth lived one hundred five years, then became the father of Enosh.

Seth lived after he became the father of Enosh eight hundred seven years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

All of the days of Seth were nine hundred twelve years, then he died.

Enosh lived ninety years, and became the father of Kenan.

Enosh lived after he became the father of Kenan eight hundred fifteen years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

All of the days of Enosh were nine hundred five years, then he died.

Kenan lived seventy years, then became the father of Mahalalel.

Kenan lived after he became the father of Mahalalel eight hundred forty years, and became the father of other sons and daughters

and all of the days of Kenan were nine hundred ten years, then he died.

Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Jared.

Mahalalel lived after he became the father of Jared eight hundred thirty years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

All of the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred ninety-five years, then he died.

God Takes Up Enoch

(Hebrews 11:5)

Jared lived one hundred sixty-two years, then became the father of Enoch.

Jared lived after he became the father of Enoch eight hundred years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

All of the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty-two years, then he died.

Enoch lived sixty-five years, then became the father of Methuselah.

After Methuselah’s birth, Enoch walked with God for three hundred years, and became the father of more sons and daughters.

All the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty-five years.

Enoch walked with God, and he was not found, for God took him.

From Methuselah to Noah

Methuselah lived one hundred eighty-seven years, then became the father of Lamech.

Methuselah lived after he became the father of Lamech seven hundred eighty-two years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

All the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty-nine years, then he died.

Lamech lived one hundred eighty-two years, then became the father of a son.

He named him Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us in our work and in the toil of our hands, caused by the ground which the LORD has cursed.”

Lamech lived after he became the father of Noah five hundred ninety-five years, and became the father of other sons and daughters.

All the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy-seven years, then he died.

Noah was five hundred years old, then Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Die Familie von Adam

(1. Chronik 1,1-3)

Dies ist das Verzeichnis der Geschlechtsfolgen Adams. Am Tage, da Gott den Menschen schuf, bildete er ihn nach Gottes Ähnlichkeit.

Als Mann und Weib schuf er sie, und segnete sie, und nannte ihren Namen Adam, an dem Tage, an dem sie erschaffen wurden.

Als nun Adam hundert und dreißig Jahre alt war, zeugte er einen Sohn nach seinem Bild und seiner Ähnlichkeit und gab ihm den Namen Seth.

Und es wurden die Tage Adams, nachdem er Seth gezeugt, achthundert Jahre; und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter.

Und die ganze Zeit, welche Adam lebte, war neunhundert und dreißig Jahre, und er starb.

Als nun Seth hundert und fünf Jahre alt war, zeugte er Enos.

Und Seth lebte, nachdem er Enos gezeuget, achthundert und sieben Jahre, und zeugte Söhne und Töchter.

Und alle Tage Seths waren neunhundert und zwölf Jahre, und er starb.

Als aber Enos neunzig Jahre alt war, zeugte er Kainan.

Nach dessen Geburt lebte er achthundert fünfzehn Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter.

Und alle Tage des Enos waren neunhundert und fünf Jahre, und er starb.

Als Kainan siebzig Jahre alt war, zeugte er Malaleel.

Und Kainan lebte, nachdem er Malaleel gezeuget, achthundert vierzig Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter.

Und alle Tage Kainans waren neunhundert und zehn Jahre, und er starb.

Als aber Malaleel fünfundsechzig Jahre alt war, zeugte er Jared.

Und Malaleel lebte, nachdem er Jared gezeuget, achthundert dreißig Jahre, und zeugte Söhne und Töchter.

Und alle Tage Malaleels waren achthundert fünfundneunzig Jahre, und er starb.

Als nun Jared hundert zweiundsechzig Jahre alt war, zeugte er Henoch.

Und Jared lebte, nachdem er Henoch gezeuget, achthundert Jahre, und zeugte Söhne und Töchter.

Und alle Tage Jareds waren neunhundert zweiundsechzig Jahre, und er starb.

Als Henoch fünfundsechzig Jahre alt war, zeugte er Mathusala.

Und Henoch wandelte mit Gott, und lebte, nachdem er Mathusala gezeuget, dreihundert Jahre, und zeugte Söhne und Töchter.

Und alle Tage Henochs waren dreihundert fünfundsechzig Jahre.

Und er wandelte mit Gott, und ward nicht mehr gesehen; denn Gott nahm ihn hinweg.

Als Mathusala hundert fünfundachtzig Jahre alt war, zeugte er Lamech.

Und Mathusala lebte, nachdem er Lamech gezeuget, siebenhundert zweiundachtzig Jahre, und zeugte Söhne und Töchter.

Und alle Tage Mathusalas waren neunhundert neunundsechzig Jahre, und er starb.

Als aber Lamech hundert zweiundachtzig Jahre alt war, zeugte er einen Sohn,

und nannte seinen Namen Noe, indem er sprach: Dieser wird uns trösten bei den Mühen und Beschwerden unserer Hände auf der Erde, die der Herr verflucht hat.

Und Lamech lebte, nachdem er Noe gezeugt, fünfhundert fünfundneunzig Jahre, und zeugte Söhne und Töchter.

Und alle Tage Lamechs waren siebenhundert siebenundsiebzig Jahre, und er starb. Als aber Noe fünfhundert Jahre alt war, zeugte er, Sem, Cham und Japheth.
