- Kapitel 43 -

Send out your light

God, declare that I am innocent. Defend me when people say things against me, those people who do not honor you! Rescue me from people who deceive me and say things about me that are not true.

You are God, the one who protects me; why have you abandoned me? It does not seem right that I should always have to be sad because of my enemies acting cruelly toward me.

Speak true words that help me to live. Give a command that will allow me to go back to Zion, your sacred hill in Jerusalem, and to your temple where you live.

When you do that, I will go to your altar to worship you, my God, who causes me to be very joyful. There I will praise you, the God whom I worship, and I will play my harp.

So why am I sad and discouraged? I confidently expect God to bless me, and again I will praise him, my God, the one who saves me.

Sende dein Licht aus

Ein Psalm Davids. Schaffe mir Recht, o Gott! und entscheide meine Sache gegen ein unheiliges Volk, von dem Manne des Unrechtes und des Truges rette mich.

Denn du, o Gott! bist meine Stärke; warum hast du mich verstoßen? Und warum muss ich trauernd einhergehen, da der Feind mich bedrängt?

sende dein Licht und deine Wahrheit aus, sie sollen mich leiten und hinführen zu deinem heiligen Berge und zu deinem Gezelte.

Und ich werde hintreten zum Altare Gottes, zu Gott, der meiner Jugend Freude bereitet, ich werde dir lobsingen auf der Harfe, o Gott, mein Gott!

Warum bist du traurig, meine Seele, und warum verwirfst du mich? Hoffe auf Gott, denn ich werde ihn noch preisen; er ist das Heil meines Angesichtes und mein Gott.
